Power Up is a charity gaming marathon/convention hosted by UMass Dartmouth’s own Gaming Society. Power Up 2009 was held last year and raised $1,000 for electronic toys that were donated to Boston Children Hospital.
In addition, we held 5 video game tournaments, a small PC and Xbox LAN, achievement tournament, and 66 players attended. This year Gaming Society hopes to attract 200 players, host 12 tournaments, and raise $2000 for our charity.
